How do I install formulaDB?

formulaDB is an Excel add-in. Once it's listed, you'll add it from Excel's Insert › Get Add-ins store; until then, you can sideload the manifest — see the docs.

How do I sideload the manifest for testing?

Point Excel at the add-in's manifest URL for your environment. The docs walk through sideloading on Windows, Mac, and Excel on the web.

What are the known limitations?

formulaDB runs DuckDB inside the browser sandbox, so very large remote files are bounded by available browser memory and the network. The docs list the current limits.

What about my data's privacy?

Local files never leave your browser session and there is no formulaDB server in the data path. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
